Wow…it’s three weeks today since Mr. M and I were wedded at the Raw Union festie...w
e’re feeling so blessed in our lives together, as our journey continues to deepen and expand :) I wanted to send some more shout–outs today to some of the wonderful people who helped co–create our wedding event...
*The Henna Artists – we were so blessed to be joined by the uber–talented henna tattoo artists Pamela and Chele, who both gifted me beautiful bridal henna all over my arms, feet and upper back. Three weeks later my henna has almost totally gone now, the memories will definitely last though ;) Thank you, lovelies :
)
*Liv – my wedding dress was made by our dear friend Liv in Ojai, California. Liv is a master seamstress who has been making custom clothes since 1968 ;O. I chose the silk, we worked out the pattern between us and she brought it to life – love it :) She even incorporated a piece of cloth from my grandmother Lily's shawl into the dress, as the under–bust sash. Thank you, lovely Liv :)
On July the 9th I loved:
1 quart water
3 cups greeeeeen veggie juice: celery, cucumber, spinach, lettuce, zucchini, carrot, ginger
big bowl of raw elixir ice cream :)

*Time Capsule Contributors – thanks be to everyone who sent goodies in for the Raw Union time capsule – it was so FUN to see all the offerings to the future. Remember to mark your calendars for June 21st 2059 when we have the intention to re–open the capsule with whoever is around and have a half–century Raw Union re–union ;)
*Chaya Ryvka – the creator of our astonishingly gorgeous raw wedding cakes. I’ve sent 
shout–outs to the fabulous Chaya here before – her work is SO exemplary though and there have been so many comments on the wedding cake pics, that I wanted to honour her contribution here again ;) Chaya runs classes showing you how to make ext–raw–dinary cakes and other creations, in the SF Bay area and beyond – you can see her site, blog and class schedule here – enjoy :) THANK YOU goddess Chaya :)

3 cups coconut smoothie: coconut meat, lucuma, mesquite powder, cardamom, cinnamon, water, with a curry noriwrap on the side

on July the 11th I had:

2 cups greeeeeeeeeen juice
½ cup carrot juice with Greener Grasses Powder
big greeeeen salad with tomatoes, red bell pepper, cucumber, olives and tahini/garlic/lemon dressing
1 quart water
15 chlorella ‘nuts’
shared meal with Mr. M of big bowl of blueberries with Go! Almond Butter
3 cups water
...and if you’d love to see me singing at the festie, on the morning of the wedding, Mr. M just put up a video on TheRawFoodWorld.tv of the first part of my ‘set’ ;) Muchos kudos and gratitude again out to Mr. Maxwell Waker for accompanying me on guitar – great job :)
