Introducing: The RevitaLive Plan :)

OooOooOoooo, time for another EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT :)
I am delighted to say that our new 30–Day Raw Food Weight Loss Programme is now READY and live :)

For the last couple of months, myself, the Monarch and the Giannis have been working away excitedly in the background, piecing together a unique weight loss programme, which is delivered straight to your inbox every day by email.

We have pooled together all of our resources and the best tips we have to share, into a single, dynamic, effective programme, that we’re VERY excited to share...
It’s been named ‘The RevitaLive Plan’ and you see aallllllll the exciting details in full HERE.

Some of the issues that the program addresses include how to...

★ Release weight naturally using a system that has been proven.
★ Let go of unsupportive habits that hold you back from reaching your goals.
★ Eliminate food cravings for good.
★ Create simple yet powerful meals and snacks for weight loss and great health.
★ Satisfy your sweet tooth and still stay healthy.
★ Identify the right supplements for your weight loss and overall health.
★ Stick to your exercise plan.
★ Succeed with your meal plans.

★ Find motivation ALL the time, whenever you want.
★ Clear your mind from self-defeating chatter.

Here’s a quick summary of what’s on offer:

*Daily Emails – containing a ‘how to’ video on the topic of the day, plus suggested links, further reading/viewing and related products. Daily topics range from recipe demos and detox techniques to fitness guidance, top tips for handling cravings and much more– we cover a full range of vital concepts for a healthy lifestyle. Each video is around 5–10 minutes in length; easy to watch, practical, useful information – it’s like the next best thing to having us there in your house showing you how we live this lifestyle ;)

*Recipe and Meal Planners – we provide a full four–weeks of healthy, tasty recipes and meal plans. There are 2 plans to choose from – either totally raw or ‘Intermediate’ – you choose which plan to follow, or mix n’ match. (All recipes are courtesy of Solla, our dear Icelandic raw goddess, who was named as one of the top raw chefs of the year last year in the ‘Best of Raw 2008’ Awards :)

*Exercise Manual – access to an entire 250 page manual of tried and tested fitness routines from your ‘Personal Trainers’, Kevin and Annmarie Gianni, with every level from Beginners to Advanced.

*The Inner Circle’ online community – this is the place to connect with others who are following the RevitaLive programme or are simply interested in raw foods/healthy lifestyles. You have a FREE 30-Day trial of this supportive community, as part of the RevitaLive Programme.

*Full Instructions for an optional 1, 3 or 5 day juice cleanse mid–programme.

*60 minute in–depth interview with myself, on healing emotional eating patterns with a raw food lifestyle.

We wanted to make sure we keep the price for this programme affordable, so your investment for the whole 30–Day Programme is $67 – less than the cost of a bagel or cappuccino or raw chocolate bar per day ;) Everything is delivered to you online.
If you’d like to, you can also ‘upgrade’ your order, to receive PRINTED, hard–copy versions of some of the materials – the Recipe/Meal Planners, the Exercise Manual and the 60–minute Interview with me. The ‘upgrade’ package investment is $117.

This is not a ‘one–off’ event for 30 days – there is no specific start or finish date, which means you can start whenever you like and finish whenever you like, with the full support of the worldwide ‘Inner Circle’ community to tap into at all times, 24/7/365, for connections and guidance.
We are REALLY excited to share this simple, clear, dynamic info in a package that makes it super–easy for people to understand and start applying immediately. The choice of two menu plans also makes this more accessible for those who may be a little wary of eating totally raw – so, please pass this info and invitation along to anyone you think could use some extra sparkle and some solid guidance to permanently release any excess pounds...let's keep on edging raw food consciousness out into the 'mainstream' ;) Yeeeeeeeee-HAH :) (The programme also has a full money-back guarantee ;)
FUN :)
We hope you enjoy this new programme and adventure just as much as we’ve enjoyed piecing it all together...

ENJOY :)
All love,

OoOoOooo, seems like Raw Food Adventures are hotting up down under in Australia...we hear that MANY raw food speakers are zipping down that way to share some yumminess this year – the lovely Boutenko ladies, Gabriel Cousens and even Dr. Fred Bisci are apparently all going south soon – WOW, I haven’t even ever seen Dr. Bisci speak yet ;) lol...

One reader – Lila – who is visiting the beautiful Margaret River region of Australia wrote recently to tell us that she’s helping out at an amazing new organic raw eatery/yoga studio/shop/garden centre, called Samudra. Lila wrote:
“Samudra offers a full schedule of yoga classes, a retail shop featuring custom-designed organic clothing and an amazing raw "food room" with outdoor seating and permaculture garden. It's a great place to work and a beautiful place to live right near the beach.”
…aaaaaaaaaaaand…Exciting Opportunity Alert ;) :
The owner of Samudra, Sheridan, is currently looking for two qualified raw food chefs AND an event/function manager. FUN :) Candidates must be under 31 years of age to qualify for an Aussie work visa OR be an Australia/New Zealand resident. Qualified candidates should email: lila (at) samudra (dot) com (dot) au for more info. FUN :)

...and while we’re knocking around down under, let’s pay a little visit too, to Casey – a lovely woman who we met while in Australia this time last year. Casey had chronic eczema and Mr. M and I gave some guidance to help her move through that and heal. She now has a beautiful new website HERE and has lots of yummy things on offer there, like a free report on ‘awakening your va–va–voooom’… ;)

ENJOY :)

As I write this, I’m on Day 2 of a Green Juice F(e)ast. YummmMmmMmMmmmmm...I’ve actually never f(e)asted on JUST green juice before, I think...always some carrot juice usually too, or fruits, coconuts etc – just greeeeeeeeeeeeeens for now though and WOW – what an impact it has – feels sooooo very clean and cleansing... it’s quite amazing to me to go a whole day with nothing but green things passing my lips (except water)...
Speaking of green juice, in our latest video on TheRawFoodWorld, you can meet my parents, as I deliver them some greeeeeeeeeen juice – will they like it? You can see HERE ;)

Mr. M also recently reviewed Blessings’ Kale Chips HERE.
The ‘Quite Cheesey’ kale chips are indeed ridiculously good – one of the tastiest raw food products I’ve ever tried. There’s still MASSES of kale knocking abt in the Northern Hemisphere at the moment it seems, so, if you have some kale, plus a dehydrator, you can even make your OWN kale chips :) Annmarie and Kevin Gianni demonstrate how to make Kale Chips HERE and there’s also a popular–looking recipe HERE on RawFreedomCommunity for kale chips (check out the outrageously cute picture of a puppy eating kale chips on there too ;). Plus remember that you can learn to make your own dehydrator HERE if you don’t have one ;)

Into the New...

Happy 2009, beautiful people.
I hope you had a FANTASTIC launch into this delightful new year...we certainly had an eventful last day of the year, between packing up to leave Mexico, doing a lot of filming for projects, dealing with dog traumas, listening in to the prize announcements for the ‘Best of Raw 2008’ awards and ‘accidentally’ doing a live 2–hour online broadcast with the Monarch and the Giannis, it was a bit of a packed day and I ended up having about 2 hours sleep last night...
Well, we had a lot of fun though, especially during the live broadcast – thanks to all of you who came out to join in – it was so fun to play games, discuss goals/resolutions for the new year, do prize giveaways and so on... :)
MY resolution was to sing more and we got straight on it, with Mr. Gianni on guitar and all of us warbling along with some of our favourite tooooons. (If you missed this gathering, I believe you can view it HERE, although I believe the first 20 minutes or so accidentally didn’t get recorded. My favourite part starts around 1h 10mins into it, when we sing 'My Life' by The Beatles ;)

on December the 31st I had:

1 quart water
2 cups green juice: celery, cucumber, lettuces, radish, dandelion, lime, ginger
20 chlorella ‘nuts’
2 cups energy soup with kale chips, followed by a chunk of raw coconut ice cream
3 cups water
2 cups green juice: celery, cucumber, lettuces, radish, dandelion, lime, ginger
1.5 cups energy soup with kale chips, followed by a hand–made yumpot of hemp butter, carob powder, lucuma powder, stevia, cinnamon, maca, vanilla powders, water
mug of herbal tea
water of a young coconut
2 cups water

Mmmmmm, I’m excited to let you know that yesterday we also finally recorded a little video demo of how to make energy soup – which has been posted to RenegadeHealth.com – I know a LOT of you have been interested to see smthg along those lines, so you can check that out HERE if that would please you... ;)

Or perhaps you’d enjoy seeing Matt’s adventure at a San Diego Farmer’s Market, where he stumbled upon Julie and her ‘Born this Morn’ green smoothie company. Julie makes green smoothies and sells them at local markets – GREAT job, Julie :) – she also has plans to take them into schools and businesses – you can see that video HERE.

If you’d also like to meet our PUPPIES, there is a very sweet little video of them just posted to RenegadeHealth HERE. Mr. M has them with him back in the US now and we just keep on sending them love and love and love...

on January the 1st I had:

2 quarts water
20 chlorella ‘nuts’ and 2 tbsp Sproutein powder
lettuce wraps stuffed with avocado, cucumber, kelp/cayenne powder and shredded kale, followed by some freeze–dried jackfruit – yum ;)
3 cups water
2 tbsp greeeeeen powder
little bowl of raw cereal with macadamia ‘mylk’
1 quart water

I’m writing this post from Mexico City airport, amidst an epic 24 hour journey back to the UK...eeeeeeeeeek ;) It has been SUCH a blessing for Mr. M and I to be able to pass this last month in Mexico together (well, together about half the time anyway, as he came and went from the US)...Now it’s time to shimmy on back to Blighty though and visit those nice people at the American Embassy to see what happens next with my Fiancee Visa...we’re sincerely hoping to see the end of this process very soon...any bright blessings sent in the direction of that vision will be most gratefully received ;)
(P.S. a woman just gave a very sweet announcement over the loud speaker here at the airport in Mexico, in broken English that 'you will arrive at your destiny on time'...what a beautiful 'slip', I'll take that as a good sign ;)

See you on the other side ;)
Happy New Year galavantings to ye all...

Giving Value...

As I write this, I am on my way to Mexico and back to my beloved, all being well... :)
Today I packed down and cleaned house again for the...Xth...time this year. As I mentioned recently, I’ve been house–sitting at my parents’ place in England these last couple of weeks and simultaneously clearing out masses of physical STUFF from my past :) FUN :) On Thursday night we had an amazingly lovely raw girlie giveaway potluck and I happily released a great deal of old belongings (as well as very happily becoming the proud owner of some sweet new clothes from some yummy raw si*stars*). Today felt really momentous to me as I stood in my parents’ attic looking at the little pile of ‘stuff’ that remains now, that is connected to me. All stacked together, it fills a space of perhaps 3 large cardboard boxes sat next to each other...I stood and looked at it for quite a while, feeling intrigued to see SO clearly the stuff that is related to me. I don’t imagine many people often see all their physical belongings packed so clearly into a space together – things are usually spread out all over the place in houses and so on – I just found it really interesting to look at this pile of stuff and know that this is now all there is. Or at least, those are the things that are staying there in the UK for now ;) With me on this journey now I have clothes, computer, books and some foods...and well, perhaps when next I find myself in the UK and look at those objects remaining in the attic, I’ll find the impulse to release even more of them – we’ll see ;) For now I’m very happy with the point things have come to and am happy to be moving on again with such clarity...and in the direction of the Monarch and coconuts ;) lol...YAY :)

on November the 27th I had:

1 quart water
little mug of rooibus tea
2 cups veggie juice: celery, spinach, kale, carrot, Jersusalam artichoke, ginger
2 cups energy soup with flax crackers and okra, followed by goji/carob yumballs
3 cups water
2 cups veggie juice: celery, spinach, kale, carrot, Jersusalam artichoke, ginger
cup of ‘wild power’ tea
plate of raw potluck food: greeeen/sprout salad with dips, followed by chia/pomegranate pudding and chocolate treats – yummmm :)
cup of rooibus tea
3 cups water

OooOooooo, here’s a yummy little news nugget I saw recently in Brighton’s Wave magazine: the UK Environment Agency has created a help pack to encourage and help people in London to create green roofs on buildings. LOVE IT :) I first consciously encountered green/living roofs when I lived at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Wales. For anyone who isn’t familiar with them, it basically means creating a living, breathing, thriving, grassy community on your rooftop :) It’s a way of adding masses of extra greeeeeen space into communities, more space for bugs and other tiny people to live and commune, more places to lay in the grass in the sun, more insulation for buildings, more space for pretty flowers to grow and so on...yummy. For more info on creating such a space, visit the Environment Agency site here:
www.environment–agency.gov.uk/greenroofs
We would LOVE to see pictures of your thriving green roofs, if you have any to share ;)

on November the 28th I had:

1 quart water
little mug of rooibus tea
2 cups energy soup with crackers on the side, followed by a little leftover goji/pomegranate pudding
little mug of rooibus tea
1 quart water
1 quart veggie juice – celery, cucumber, kale, fennel, ginger, endive, carrot
2 fuyu persimmons
2 cups water

on November the 29th I had:

1 quart water
little mug of rooibus tea
1.5 quarts veggie juice: celery, cucumber, kale, fennel, ginger, endive, carrot
1 tsp wheatgrass powder
mug of rooibus tea
1.5 cups greeeen veggie juice
yummy raw meal at Manna in Brighton – raw ‘tortilla’ with salad & guacamole, followed by raw chocolate cake and ice cream – YUMM
3 cups water

OOoOooooo, did you hear the interview Kevin Gianni recently put up with Steve Pavlina? LOVE IT :) Awwwwww, two such kind, open–hearted, healthy, loving men sharing an hour’s discussion on self–development and finding/enjoying your life path – I thought it was very yummy...and SO insightful too. I just LOVE the way Steve’s logic seems to work, while at the same time his heart seems totally engaged. He is so SO clear – it’s like truth, simplicity and clarity seem to just effortlessly flow through him and out into the world... He has some outstanding info to share in this interview about offering VALUE to other people, while doing smthg that you love. I think that’s so beautiful...it’s not abt focusing on how to make MONEY from doing smthg you love – rather how to offer true VALUE to other people, then the money just flows, like any energy...I love that...you can listen to the interview on Kevin’s site HERE. THANKS, guys, for sharing this lovely info... Steve just finished a 30–Day Juice Feast too – WOW – go Steve :) He had a pretty intense journey with it, mostly emotionally – you can read his recent summary of that on his blog HERE.
ENJOY :)

Raw Foods in Scandinavia...??? ;)

OOOooooo, I’m excited to say that the details of our upcoming talk in SWEDEN have finally fallen into place ;) Here’s the scoop, for all of our Scandinavian raw family:

On Saturday the 18th of October, we’ll be speaking at Livshälsa Yoga Studio in Stockholm,
from 1-4pm. Click HERE for full details (in Swedish ;)

…and while we’re on the subject of raw food in Scandinavia, I’d love to give you a little quote here recently sent to me in an email from ‘Birgitta’ in the FAR north of Norway:

“Your book "Raw Emotions" is a must for me to get, for I have long suspected that "eat less and exercise more" is a kindergarten solution. It's a far more complex problem than most slender people realize. I have never met any overweight persons who don't know that they need to "eat less and exercise more". I believe there are some underlying problems that maybe have to be addressed first - or at least they must not be ignored.”

I LOVE that: ‘kindergarten solution’ – that really made me laugh out loud, thanks for sharing, Birgitta :)

on October the 7th I had:

1 quart water
2.5 cups carrot/romaine juice
20 chlorella ‘nuts’
handful of raspberries and blackberries, 4 fresh figs
2 cups water
1.5 cups carrot/romaine juice with spirulina stirred in
2 cups energy soup with flax crackers, followed by 2tbsp goji berries with pine nuts
mug of spicy tea
3 cups water

YUMMY – did you see that ‘Health Book Summaries’ recently posted their summary of ‘Green for Life’, Victoria Boutenko’s CLASSIC raw food book on consuming more greens (especially green smoooooothies ;)? Well, if you haven’t read this outstanding book yet, I’d suggest you skip on over to read this free summary at HealthBookSummaries.com. Even if you HAVE read it, maybe you’d like a little refresher? ;)
There are other GREAT raw titles summarised there too, like Gabriel Cousens’ ‘Spiritual Nutrition’, Wolfie’s ‘Sunfood Diet Success System’, plus many other wonderful titles that aren’t necessarily ‘RAW’-orientated, yet have very valuable info to share, like ‘Selling Sickness’, ‘Appetite for Profit’ and others. The Summaries (if you’re not familiar with them) are compiled by the ever-lovely and multi-skilled Mike Adams of NaturalNews.com and Kevin Gianni of RenegadeHealth.com.
GREAT job at spreading the word, guys ;)

on October the 8th I had:

1 quart water
2 cups ‘wild power’ tea
3 juicy, dark Italian plums
2 cups veggie juice: celery, cucumber, endive, fennel, sprouts, Jerusalem artichokes, carrots, ginger
2 cups ‘energy soup’ with flax crackers, followed by a little yummy bowl of hazelnut butter mixed with carob powder, lucuma powder and water
3 cups water
1 cup veggie juice: celery, cucumber, endive, fennel, sprouts, Jerusalem artichokes, carrots, ginger, with extra wheatgrass powder stirred in
½ a YUMMY papaya
20 chlorella nuts
2 cups water

Here’s a FABULOUS little video recently sent to me by Gina in Colorado. It is all about ‘Carrotmob’ – have you seen what these people are up to?
Well, if you haven’t, watch this 10-minute video below – like me, you just might be BLOWN AWAY by the beautiful simplicity of this concept – I hope more people start applying this technique all over the place – IMAGINE the impact that could have...
Enjoy the vid ;)

While we’re on the subject of Mr Gianni, have you seen the amazing new ‘Health Summaries’ project he and Mike Adams have been working on? LOVE it. They are offering summarised ‘Cliffs Notes’ versions of some of the most inspiring health food books on the market, just like the PhilosophersNotes.com site offers the same kind of service for ‘self-development’ books. How BLESSED we are to have these tools coming to our fingertips at this time of mass information, when so many of us don’t feel we have the time to sit and focus on reading whole books. I so appreciate these ‘distilling’ services on offer...
With ‘HealthSummaries’ you can get the ‘skinny’ on all kinds of amazing titles like Gabriel Cousens’ ‘Spiritual Nutrition’, David Wolfe’s ‘Sunfood Diet Success System’, ‘Selling Sickness’ and ‘Beyond Medicine’ for FREE as PDF downloads. You can also subscribe to an ‘advanced’ service that brings you MP3 recordings of the summaries. Yummy. You can read all about the fun and games on offer HERE and sign up for your free summaries :)

ENJOY :)

Travel and Inspiration...

Well, we’re back at base now, after nearly a week of hopping around this great continent. It’s been yummy - today we even saw kangaroos munching in the early morning light in country fields :) We spoke in both Perth and Adelaide to lovely, receptive audiences – thanks to everyone who came along :) I also got to see three stunning western-facing beach sunsets in a row...yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I just LOVE west coast sunsets – I would love to settle near the sea on a west coast somewhere, to enjoy those kinds of moments regularly...mmmmmmmmm...
We were also extremely blessed to have some wonderful hosts to share with in both locations – the raw tribe seems to be growing daily, with so many beautiful, bright, loving beings stepping onto this path...Oooo, for any of you who may be about to set out on travels soon and are looking for places to crash – HERE’s a great article recently forwarded by a friend, which lists ‘8 Tools to Travel Long Term and Live Rent Free’. Wonderful :) I’ve used many of these services in the last years – I think WWOOF-ing was probably the most rewarding for me – working on organic farms. I ‘WWOOF-ed’ my way around New Zealand, back in 2000...LOVED it...and now we’re heading back there, in just a few days – yeeeeeeeeeeeee-HAH :) (BTW – If anyone has suggestions of where to stay in Auckland or Whangarei, please drop us a line at angela@rawreform.com ;)

Ok, it’s going to be a double-whammy of food logs again now, due to recent blog inactivity ;) Hold on tight, here we go...

on January the 24th I had:

2 quarts water
2 cups parsley/lettuce/chard/ginger/beetroot/carrot juice
2 peaches and 4 nectarines
2 cups water
¾ avo mushed with diced tomatoes, powdered kelp and sliced spring onions (green onions), stuffed in romaine leaves
2 cups green smoothie: banana/mango/romaine/baby spinach
3 cups water

Gosh, how very delightful. After passing on the Inspirational Blogger award to a few raw lovelies back in October, it seems as if most of the raw blogging world has now felt the loving touch of this yummy award :) ...and now it’s just come full-circle back to this blog, care of the lovely Melissa and Baby Alex over at rawbabyalex.blogspot.com – thanks petals :) Hmmmm, so, as you’re perhaps aware, this means I get the fun game to play again of passing the award on to 5 more blogs of note – HURRAY :) (You can check out the ‘rules’ of the award HERE.) Ok, so, here are my nominations this time round, in no particular order:

Mr. Matthew Monarch – gotta pass it on to the Monarch ;) His dedication to sharing truth, integrity and giggles inspires me :) I don’t know anyone else who has gone completely raw overnight and never taken a step back again, for example – even 8 years now down the line...his focus is extraordinary and I find his resonance to truth and simplicity delightful...
