Please *Vote* for Mr. M's Audition on Oprah :)

GREETINGS and Happy Solstice to you all :)

Today is our first wedding anniversary ♥♥♥  and we have some yummy announcements around that to share with you in our newsletters later today - however right now we have another very exciting announcement to share...

Mr. M made an audition video to get his OWN TV Show on Oprah's Network and we *just* heard that his video has been accepted ;)

LOL - it is a very spontaneous one and a half minute call to action from the dynamic Monarch and we would LOVE, love, LOVE to have your votes for this video, if you care to support this quest...? ♥♥♥
Here is the video link: http://tinyurl.com/mrmoprah

Press the green 'Vote' button there on the left to register *your* vote :)
The voting ends on July 3rd at 11.59pm PST, so time is short and every vote counts - we would be ***thrilled*** if you may be willing to pass this link on to friends and family... :) Imagine how many more lives we could reach and touch with a 'real' TV Show ;) :) :)

(btw, if you're wondering why I'm not in the video too, we tried to enter a video with both of us at first and it was rejected - the Oprah team said the auditions can only feature one person, so it came down to Mr. M, as the more clearly 'American' of the two of us, to woo the lovely Ms. Winfrey... ;)

THANK YOU for playing the game - we love you :))) ♥♥♥

All love,
Angela. xxx

What The World Eats...

Have you ever seen the amazing set of photos from the book called "Hungry Planet: What The World Eats"? I remember seeing these for the first time years ago and it was fun to see them resurface again recently in my inbox via the lovely Courtney Pool from The Tree of Life...she sent over these two links for picture galleries of what families worldwide eat in a typical week - I LOVE projects like this (watch out for the super-smiley Ecuadorian tribe ;)...check it out:

I would love to know how they chose which families to feature worldwide...
Can you identify with any of these pictures? Whose intake would you most like to experience or emulate...? Which family spread looks the scariest to you...? Who looks the happiest and healthiest to you? How much money does *your* family spend on food in a week? Is it nearer the $5.03 of the Namgay family in Bhutan or the $500.07 of the Melander family in Germany...? ...and where are the raw foodies in any of these pics...? ;) Maybe someone would love to do a project like this featuring just raw foodies worldwide? Now THAT would be interesting to see, methinks... ;)

LOVE this sweet little note I received recently from the Hazelden 'Gift for Today' emails:

"Norman Vincent Peale wrote that "God runs a beauty parlor," meaning that plain people with gracious thoughts tend to become more attractive as years wear on.
I'll remember today that I don't really keep my thoughts and feelings secret. I will think well of myself and all others. I know that there are no hidden thoughts in the long run."

Mmmmmm, keep on smiling friends, keep on spreading that light...aim to take nothing personally and if feeling challenged, remember that the Ho'oponopono prayer is always a great direction for your energy...Thank You, I Love You, Please Forgive Me, I'm Sorry... ;)

Little Grandmother Speaks...

In my latest newsletter, I wrote about a simply wonderful woman named "Little Grandmother", whose message I have been riveted to for the past few days. In case you didn't see my newsletter, here is the info on this extraordinary woman's sharing:

Little Grandmother

Kiesha Crowther is a Native American shaman/'wisdom-keeper' and I absolutely LOVE the message she is sharing with the world. In the last week, I suddenly started receiving emails about "Little Grandmother", as Kiesha is known...one email followed another until I felt inspired to click a link and check out what this 'grannie' is sharing...well, as it turns out, screen shot 2010-06-07 at 11.18.40 am.pngKiesha is the self-described 'youngest, blondest, whitest Grandmother' you'll see...and her story, spirit and message are absolutely BEAUTIFUL to me... I have been attentively absorbing all her sharing with fascination and delight since then...
Kiesha speaks with such delightful clarity, compassion, grace and POSITIVITY about the big shifts that are in flow in our world right now... I resonate so much with her message that I wanted to share a couple of links here so y'all can check out what she is bringing forth too - LOVE this si*star* :)))

You can watch a whole speech by Little Grandmother filmed a few months back in NM, presented in ten parts on YouTube - see here for the start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yK5OOfEmut4

You can also see Kiesha in a live interview HERE - great info on her background and her perspective on the Earth shifts that seem to be lining up...

Top 10 Raw Foods *YOU* Chose to Live On For 30 Days... ;)

WOW, last month's RawReform Giveaway was the biggest YET, with a huuuuuuuuuge response to win a free copy of the lovely Jenna Norwood's DVD, "Supercharge Me"...We asked you to send in your answer to the question: "If you were to live on just one raw food for 30 days,
which food would you choose and why...?" and I am delighted to say that the winner, drawn at random today, is Sarah Fabry, who sent in the following response:

"If I could have only ONE raw food for 30 days it would be...

CARROTS

I Loooove them.  They are so versatile - I can juice them (with a little knuckle of ginger), then use the pulp in the dehydrator to make carrot crackers.  The pulp is also wonderful in raw carrot cakes.  I slice them into skinny sticks, or nibble them whole, and try to get to the paler orange "icicle" inside.  I slice them into chips, dust with celtic sea salt and dehydrate them to make "car-ackers". I spiralize them for noooodles, or shave them with the vegetable peeler for fettuccini. Grated? Yup. You can even glide a fork down the sides of a big carrot, them slice into circles, and you get little carrot flowers.  Vitamin A powerhouses!  They give my skin a sunny tinge.  What more could I ask for?  Carrots have been very good to me, and I am good to them.  The green frilly tops go into the juicer too (just not the "nub" at the top where the enzyme inhibitor live) and give me a ZIP!  Carrots are my friends, and if I needed them, they'd be there for me.

Angela, sparkle on!  I love you!
Rainbows, Rainbows,
Sraddha"

WOW, carrots eh? Thanks for sharing, Sarah...your yummy free DVD gift is on its way to you now - enjoy, enjoy :)

...and if you're curious to know which other foods people said they'd choose to live on exclusively for 30 days, here's a list of the top ten choices, in reverse order:

10. Kale
9. Blueberries
8. Pineapple
7. Spinach
6. Mangoes
5. Apples
4. Watermelon
3. Bananas

...and here below are some of the more unique and 'inventive' answers ;)

Three Creative Raw Goddesses... :)

I have three gorgeous raw goddess creative flows to share with you today...

Firstly, our dear friend in California, Shea Lynn Baird, has an absolutely fabulous offer to share with you all...
Some of you will know Shea already, as a superb colon hydrotherapist, long-time raw foodie and host of the free "Monday Night LIVE!" raw food talk sessions at Cafe Gratitude in N. California.
In 2009, Shea and her husband Stephen hosted a free live talk at Cafe Gratitude in Healdsburg EVERY Monday night...and now they're doing it again, all through 2010 ;O That's dedication...
They have hosted many oustanding speakers already and the line-up just keeps on going - this is such a wonderful way to share the raw message.
Shea and Stephen were also kind enough to FILM every single talk that has been shared so far, which equates to over 100 hours of footage already, from speakers such as:

Elaina Love, Laura Fox, Kevin and Annmarie Gianni, Cherie Soria, Dr.Rick Dina, John Kohler, Dr. Doug Graham, Paul Nison, Steve Adler, Jennifer Cornbleet, Bunny Berry, our very selves aaaaaaaand they even hosted four q&a panels with raw chefs, raw doctors and raw athletes...

...and NOW, they are offering "Access All Areas" online passes to anyone who did not make the talks in person, or would LOVE to see them again, so you can view all the footage online - cool :)
They have three options for you, all at extremely reasonable prices, IMO, considering the WEALTH of information these passes will give you access to:

To see more details and to access all these areas, you can visit Shea and Stephen's site HERE - enjoy :)))

Another yummy raw diva friend, Joyce Oliveto, would also love to let y'all know about the upcoming Third Annual Raw Living Health Festival that she is hosting again this year in Brighton, Michigan.
You may recall the lovely Joyce from the series of "Ann Wigmore Retrospective" videos we filmed with her last year - Joyce has been in this movement for decades and has a huge amount to share ;)
The festival this year will be held on Saturday September the 18th, from 10am to 8pm and will feature live raw food demos and sample, live music, wild edible walks, booths, live blood cell analysis, body workers and more - full deets can be found over HERE.

...and remember, a few weeks back I did a whole write-up of the upcoming raw-friendly festies this summer, worldwide - you can check that out HERE...plus some extras HERE too - enjoy :)

All blessings and abundant flow to you and through you,
Ms. S-M. xxx
