Crossing the Boundaries of Time...

Mmmmmm, the end of another year, eh? Thank you, sweet people, for all your jolly interactions this year...it’s been a wonderful journey, as ever…
I will say though that it feels nothing like New Year’s Eve to me here in Mexico ;) LOL...not quite sure why...I suspect it has smthg to do with time seeming to speed up constantly – it could just as easily be May or June to me...the end of December already? Well, ok, if you like... ;) I seem to have passed another year without living in any one place for more than a few months again...I would guestimate the number of places I stayed this year as at least 80 or so...HOPEFULLY all that will shift soon though, as and when our US Visa process moves along...breathing deeeeeeeeeeep for that ;)
As for New Years Eve, well, we have the honour of having the delightful Mr and Mrs Gianni over to visit for this auspicious occasion, so I’m sure we’ll have some fun footage to share with you soon ;) You can catch up with recent episodes of TheRawFoodWorld TV Show HERE on Mr. M’s blog...yesterday we went to visit the five–star, raw food healing hospital Sanoviv here in Mexico and...they didn’t seem very excited to see us – was it the shoes, was it the hair? ;) Hmmmm, you can find out more HERE ;)

on December the 29th I had:

1 quart water
2 cups greeeeen juice: tatsoi, lettuces, dandelion, spinach, kale, lime
2 cups energy soup with kale chips on the side, followed by a wedge of homemade raw coconut ice cream
2 cups water
water of 2 young coconuts
3 tbsp Sproutein powder
2 cups energy soup with kale chips on the side, followed by a hand–blended yumpot of hemp butter, lucuma powder, carob powder, maca, cinnamon, vanilla, stevia, water
2 cups water

Tomorrow (31st) is the last day to vote in the ‘Best of Raw 2008’ Awards – have you cast your votes yet? If not, you can boogie on over to bestofraw.net and vote NOW – the winners will be announced live on the Raw Inspirations radio show from 7pm tomorrow evening – New Year’s Eve – a fun way to celebrate the changing of the years, with the raw family tribe ;)
You can only vote from any computer once, SO, if you haven’t submitted your choices yet, go for it HERE and enjoy :)

on December the 30th I had:

1 quart water

2 cups energy soup with kale chips on the side, followed by a wedge of homemade raw coconut ice cream

water of 2 young coconuts
2 cups energy soup with kale chips on the side, followed by a hand–blended yumpot of hemp butter, lucuma powder, carob powder, maca, cinnamon, vanilla, stevia, water

Puppy Update: thanks again for ALL the amazing guidance, love and suggestions people have been sending in about feeding/raising our rescued puppies raw. (If you don’t know about our new canine companions, you can see more about them HERE.)
Today my heart sang as Sandy, the mumma dog wagged her tail for the very first time since she came to us. :) :) :) ahhhhhh, SO beautiful to see. Imagine being around a child who you’ve never seen laugh or even smile and then they suddenly grin ;) It was so delightful and I’m so grateful to see her getting stronger each day, slowly slowly. Please do keep sending them all love, light and healing thoughts if you feel drawn to do so – it makes all the difference...
As for us humans, well, I’d like to sign off here below with a sweet little stanza that I first posted on my blog way back on New Year’s Eve 2006. I like it. I hope you do too...and moreover, I hope you have a WONDERFUL New Year, of joy, enriching connections, love, happiness, surrender to the flow, dancing, squeaking randomly and hugging spontaneously...
May all blessings be yours.
All love,
Angela. xxx

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light;
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.

There were two ‘mainstream’ news reports about food that interested me recently...

The first is about a Federal Judge in the US who is eating raw now, because he has cancer – GREAT to know he’s on such a healing path :) You can read all about his experiences HERE.

The other story that caught my eye…well, this one was over on NaturalNews.com actually, so not really THAT ‘mainstream’ at all ;) LOL – it is masquerading in that vein though and doing a pretty uncanny job of it, in my opinion...treat yourself to a giggle over HERE, where you can learn more about wearable feed–bags for humans... ;)

Mr. M has been having a lot of fun piecing the shows together and there is even a dedicated YouTube channel for them all now – see: YouTube.com/TheRawFoodWorld – fun :) Many more to come...
Let us know too if you have any yummy requests/suggestions/comments etc for the TV show – just email angela@rawreform.com and we’ll do our best to get on it ;)

In case you’re in a raw recipe ‘tizzy’ at this time of year, I thought I’d mention that I dropped by ‘GoneRaw.com’ recently and it’s looking GOOD over there...nice presentation and TONS of searchable recipes...anyone can join and contribute...I think it’s really cool that you can enter any ingredient/search term and it will pop up all relevant recipes for you... You can check out that site HERE if you’re not already familiar with it...
I’m actually intending to make some kind of ‘key lime pie/cheesecake/smthg’ sometime soon, utilising some of the MASS of coconut meat and limes we have here...will be aiming for low glycemic though and no cashews ;) If anyone has any recommendations they’d love to offer, then again, please just email angela@rawreform.com and let us know ;)

I’m back onto mainly coconut water again right now. It just feels SO good to me – LOVE it and as it now seems very likely I’ll be leaving Mexico and heading back to the UK next week, I decided to make the most of coco–yumminess while I can ;) There is an intention to pass the next few days on primarily coconut water, with bee pollen, veggie juice, green powder etc alongside – Juice Feasting pretty much ;) lol ;) A yummy way to dip into a little of end–of–year cleansing; out with the old, in with the new...
Oh my GOODNESS, on the subject of cleansingMs. Suki Zoe, colon hydrotherapist and health renegade ext–raw–dinaire has just posted an amazing set of live blood cell analysis pics to her blog. She did a comparison of her blood after having veggie juice compared to after having cacao powder and agave. WOW...I highly recommend taking a look at those pics for the sheer ‘WOH’ factor... ;) AMAZING contrast...You can check out this juicy lady’s pics HERE...and perhaps use that as inspiration to get your liquids on, lovelies ;) Thanks for sharing, Suki...

Do They Know About Raw Food?

Helllooooooooooo beautiful,
A short burst of connection today to relay...
I made a little raw food song for Christmas. You can see it here if you like and the lyrics are down below:

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Feliz Navidad and all best wishes to you for a supreme...Thursday... ;)
All love,
Angela Claire Santastokes. xxx

Do They Know About Raw Food?

It's Christmas time,
There's no need to be afraid.
At Christmas time you can still eat raw and celebrate.
Yes in a world of cooked food
We can spread a healthy glow
Take raw gojis and desserts wherever you go
But say a prayer,
Pray for the other ones.
At Christmas time, it's hard
To see the foods they munch...
But there's a world beyond that fridge door
And it's a world of love and health
Where the raw community gather to uplift you and to help
When everyone around you seems to be high on processed foods,
Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you ;)
And there won't be greens on many plates this Christmas time.
The most nutritious thing they'll eat is fruit pie.
Oooooohhhhh, where no sprouts ever grow,
And no smoothies or juices flow...

DO they know about raw food at all?
Feed the World,
Let them know about raw food and
Feed the World,
Let them know about raw food
Feed the World
Let them know about RAW FOOD...

Introducing: TheRawFoodWorld.TV

Alright, get ready for some raw ENTERTAINMENT ;)
The Monarch and I have decided to start sharing a lot more videos of our raw adventures, in response to numerous requests...so, may we introduce: TheRawFoodWorld.TV ;)

Mr. M's inner director has been set loose and for the last few days he's been filming and posting clips up in California.
*HERE is a little vid with his mum. LOVE it - hilarious. I watched it at lunch and laughed so much I accidentally sprayed the kale chips I was eating all over my 'puter ;) You can see that video HERE.

*Mr. M also posted an interview today with another Mr. Monarch - his brother, Brian. Very funny too - and I LOVE, love, LOVE that the question 'if you know refined sugars and processed starches are not great for you, why do you still eat them?' was asked and answered. That is smthg that fascinates me about people. You can see that video HERE.

*Meanwhile, over at the RenegadeHealth.com blog, Kevin recently posted a video tour of TheRawFoodWorld.com shipping warehouse in California - so COOL to see...yes, I've never actually even seen our warehouse, as I've been out of the US for sooo long now (hopefully that will all shift soon - please send love towards that vision, if you feel drawn ;). You can see the warehouse tour video HERE.

PHEW...that oughta give you smthg more entertaining to watch than the usual Christmas TV choices ;) ENJOY...

...and on that note, I'd love to take this opportunity to wish you Happy Solstice/Hanukkah/Christmas/Holidays/December/End of Year/New Year/Fill in the Delight of Your Choice ;)

Thanks for coming out to play this last year...and we have SO much more yet to share next year - it's going to be a HUGE year for the raw food movement, methinks...so, let's all keep on peacefully and lovingly spreading the message further and further... Into The LIGHT, amigos :)
All love,

Dancing into our Inner Circles...

Oooooo, we’ve got a fun new play area to share with you: The ‘Inner Circle’.
Those of you who are already familiar with the work of Mr. and Mrs. Gianni may know that they have set up a lovely health community subscription site called ‘The Inner Circle’. It already has over 1000 active members and as of now, myself and the Monarch are going to be playing in there too, regularly ;) We’re going to be giving talks once a month, as well as answering questions, posting exclusive videos and possibly even whistling some of your favourite songs (if you ask nicely ;).
As an introductory offer to come and play in this shiny new sandpit, you can sign up for the quirky figure of just $7.77 (that’s abt £5 for those of you in the UK – bargain ;) and you will receive this raw–markable package deal:

*My entire ‘Raw Emotions’ e–Book (usually $24.95)
*An exclusive ‘Raw Emotions’ audio download – this will be the first full interview I’ve given on the subject of Raw Food and Emotions.
*30–day Trial Membership to the Inner Circle service, including community support, weekly talks, videos, Q and A sessions, download archive of interviews and transcripts with yumsters such as Victoria Boutenko, David Wolfe, Mike Adams and so on...

SO, you get all that for just $7.77, plus on TOP of that, if you stick around to play some more after the first 30 day trial, you’ll get access to an ONGOING 12% discount coupon at Mr. M’s raw food superstore, TheRawFoodWorld.com.
That coupon will ALWAYS work, meaning that you will get 12% off ALL purchases forevermore, if you stick around ;) The monthly membership fee for the Inner Circle service is just $9.97 a month, which could easily pay for itself with the savings you’d enjoy at TheRawFoodWorld. Sounds like a pretty mighty deal, right? ;) LOL...love it...
SO, if you’d like to check out this amazing offer, just CLICK HERE; if nothing else, you could get a copy of ‘Raw Emotions’ for $7.77 – bargain, right? ;)
This intro offer is scheduled to end soon, on Wednesday the 24th, so act now if you wanna play – click HERE and ENJOY :)

on December the 19th I had:

1 quart water
water of 2 young coconuts, 2 tbsp sproutein powder
2 cups energy soup with kale chips and snap peas on the side, followed by a bowl of hand–blended yum: almond butter, maca, lucuma powder, carob powder, goji berries
little mug of spicy tea
3 cups water
3 cups veggie juice: celery, parsley, dandelion, fennel, carrots with greens, ginger
2 cups energy soup with kale chips and okra on the side, followed by a bowl of hand–blended yum: almond butter, maca, lucuma powder, carob powder, goji berries
2 cups water

I am caretaking/rehabilitating 2 tiny, month–old puppies and their mum ‘Sandy’ at the moment. They could use a LOT of love right now. They’ve been with me a few days now and I wasn’t actually sure they’d make it through the night last night – I’m relieved that they’re still here today though and they seem to be getting stronger... It seems to have been rather a rough ride for them all so far in this dimension – we’re doing our best to help them to heal now though. If you feel drawn to send love, light and healing towards these three beautiful young canine friends, please do...yesterday was the toughest day so far with them and I sensed there was about a 60% chance they’d make it through the night. Amidst this somewhat bleak situation, a song came onto my iTunes to remind me with sweet lyrics that ‘the greatest gift of life is to know love’...and so that’s the main thing we’re channeling to these little beings right now – love, love, LOVE and more LOVE...and I sense they’re really feeling it...they seem to be getting stronger...and I am so grateful for that. So, please do add your love and blessings for their health and well–being into the Universal Flow, if you are drawn...it will be much appreciated...
Thank you.

The Spoon-Licker Cometh...

WELL...as I write this, there are just 10 days until Christmas...looks like we’ll be enjoying a MeXican–shaped X–mas this year...we don’t have a Christmas tree or any decorations...we do have a lot of cacti though and a semi–adopted puppy called Barbados who likes to ‘decorate’ our floor with gifts of her own and chew the cacti ;) I’ve never toilet–trained a puppy before – hmmmm, it’s quite some task, eh? ...it’s SO rewarding though to see how she’s starting to get the hang of it more and more ;) I somehow hadn’t envisioned myself spending quite so much time here in Mexico clapping and cooing at the excretions of a canine...well, the Universe has its own peculiar games to unfold of course ;)
Incidentally, did you know that in Iceland there are 13 ‘Santas’? They come down from the mountains one per day during the days preceding Christmas Eve and they have rather unusual habits...today for example was the day for ‘spoon–licker’ santa to make his appearance...I think you can guess what his passion is...his other compadres include sausage snatcher, window peeper, door sniffer, candle beggar, pot scraper and door slammer...hmmmmm...who would YOU invite to your Holiday parties...? (btw, the mother of the 13 santas is called ‘Grýla’ and apparently she eats babies...) You can read all about the exploits of the unconventional Icelandic santa crew HERE.

on December the 13th I had:

1 quart water
2 apples with 3 tbsp Sproutein powder
2 cups energy soup with okra and kale chips on the side, followed by an almond crunch bar
mug of spicy tea
2 cups water
1 quart greeeen juice: celery, cucumber, broccoli, kale, romaine, asparagus, dandelion, ginger, lime
an apple and a pomegranate with 2 tbsp Sproutein powder
2 cups water

I would like to share here a very simple, beautiful little concept that I received in an email recently:

The best way to multiply happiness is to divide it.

LOVE that...sooo beautiful...how might YOU help to multiply the community happiness factor today? Smile at a stranger? ‘Random’ act of kindness? Gift to a loved one? There are so many ways we can share...and everything positive we share like this is radiated back to us manifold over – we are SO blessed...

on December the 14th I had:

1 quart water
little cup of spicy tea
2 tbsp sproutein powder
2 cups energy soup with okra and kale chips on the side, followed by an almond crunch bar
mug of spicy tea
2 cups water
3 cups green juice: celery, cucumber, kale, fennel, romaine, dandelion, ginger, lime
1 tbsp bee pollen
2 cups energy soup with kale chips on the side, followed by a little yumm bowl of hand–mixed almond butter/lucuma powder/maca/carob powder/dried pomegranate seeds
little mug of spicy tea
2 cups water

on December the 15th I had:

1 quart water
3 cups veggie juice: celery, cucumber, fennel, dill, kale, carrot
2 tbsp Sproutein, 2 tbsp bee pollen
2 cups energy soup with kale chips on the side, followed by a little bowl of hand–blended yum: almond butter/lucuma powder/carob powder/goji berries
little cup of spicy tea
2 cups water
15 chlorella tablets
2 cups greeeeeen juice: celery, cucumber, fennel, romaine, ginger, lime
1.5 cups energy soup with kale chips on the side, followed by a mixture of chia pudding and leftover blended sweet yummy stuff from lunch
2 cups water

Here’s a juicy question that came in recently from Kelly...
“Hi Angela, when you juice, do you use a juicer? Or do you make it like on juicefeasting.com using the vitamix and nutmilk bag? do you think you lose significantly more nutrients when using the vitamix/nutmilk compared to juicing with a juicer?”
Kelly

Thanks for your Q Kelly :). Well, at this point in time, we are in Mexico and we're using a Breville Juice Fountain juicer - we make the juice, then also squeeeeeeeze the pulp through a nut milk bag, to get LOTS more juice (we tend to get at LEAST another 16oz that way we find ;O... )
When we're in the UK, we have a little twin gear Kempo, Mr. M also has a Norwalk juicer in the US and when we’re travelling in other places/staying with other people, we use whatever is available – so, we use different things depending on where we are...
Yes, the juice definitely oxidises a lot faster when using a vitamix/nut milk bag combo OR when using a centrifugal juicer too - twin gear juicers or Norwalk juicers are the best choices, if you're looking for nutrient value and the potential to make juice ahead of time and store it in a fridge ;) The Vitamix/nut milk bag combo is GREAT though for ease and if you're going to drink the juice quickly ;)
Hope that helps...

Oooooo, I’m feeling all aglow and excitable right now...in the latest newsletter from ‘The Ringing Cedars of Russia’ (the people who publish the ‘Anastasia’ books), they included my weight loss story, a link to the CNN piece I did earlier this year, plus another article on raw food too – FUN :) I had a huge grin at being featured in ‘Anastasia’s newspaper’ - or 'The Earth' as it's known - as she’s definitely my biggest current source of si*star* inspiration...You can see their latest newsletter HERE – it is huuuuuuuuuuuuuge, packed with amazing articles on ecovillages, permaculture, growing food and now...RAW food lifestyles too :) YAY :) You can sign up to receive their free newsletters HERE and if you haven’t yet read the AMAZING Anastasia books, you can see them HERE...

I watched a great raw food lecture by Paul Nison on YouTube yesterday. It’s in 6 parts and is called ‘Formula for Health’. I love that Paul shares about the importance of many other factors for our optimal health than just FOOD – he talks about the role of television in the ‘numbing’ game, some really interesting historical info about how people used to usually eat twice a day and why they started to eat more and more, the perils of eating late at night, the major causes of disease, the role of exercise and so on. Paul throws lots of humour into the mix of his lectures – it’s a fun watch, methinks – you can check out the first part HERE and click on through all 6 parts from there if you’re drawn – I recommend it...ENJOY :)
(BTW – Paul’s going to be a daddy for the first time very soon – his lovely wife Andrea is expecting their daughter in the first few weeks of the new year – EXCITING – send them loooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeee :)

Mmmmm, I read another passage in ‘Raw Emotions’ today that I’d love to share here...I hope you enjoy any note of resonance it might strike for you ;)

----------------
A Secret Smile…
Sometimes our body language can reveal interesting things about our patterns. For example, have you noticed that some people actually smile as they talk about perceived ‘difficulties’ in their lives? Sometimes of course, this appears as the gentle smile of someone who is aware that ultimately, all is well, whatever appears to be happening on the surface. More frequently, though, this pattern seems to arise in those who tend to focus on ‘issues/problems’ in life - e.g. ‘Did I tell you, Uncle Billy’s going in for a knee operation again?’; ‘The service at that restaurant was awful - the waitress was so rude’; or ‘I told them that would happen - they never listen to me’ and so on. Although the topic is something that might usually be thought of as unfortunate/unpleasant, the speaker is smiling. There is a sense that they actually enjoy focusing on these aspects of life or even delight in it in some way. They might dwell on details and repeat such stories often. What might be behind that smile? My feeling is that usually, focusing on ‘the negative’ is a life-long pattern for such speakers and it is what feels comfortable to them. In contrast, speaking about inspiring, uplifting, exciting, expansive ideas and projects might seem alien and perhaps even scary to someone whose reality until now has been mainly shaped by ‘negative’ imprinting.
Be aware of your own facial expressions in the coming days as you speak. Do you notice yourself smiling if you speak about ‘difficulties’? Does this seem peculiar to you? What do you think might underlie this pattern?
I recognised this pattern in myself only when it was pointed out to me one day by a friend. I was relaying a story I’d told many times before of how challenging my relationship had been with an ex-partner. My friend listened as I told this ‘tale of woe’ then asked me why I’d had a slight smile on my face the whole time I spoke. What was ‘in it’ for me to keep repeating this story? How was this serving me? This was a real moment of clarity for me and helped me to move on and let go of that pattern.
This is not to suggest, however, that we all ought to look morose, tearful or distraught whenever we relay other-than-fabulous information. It is simply a pattern that can be observed and might reveal some interesting insights, if we are willing to explore...

Healing...

MMmmmm, I was editing Raw Emotions again today (for the Xteenth time this year ;) and really resonated with a few passages that I’d love to share here, if you’re open to that? Yes? Good, then we shall begin...I hope you’re sitting comfortably ;)

“Another common misconception that often goes hand-in-hand with ‘you can eat whatever you want, as long as it’s raw’ is the idea that ‘raw food heals us’. It is not the raw food itself that heals us, or even the fact that raw food has more enzymes. It is the fact that we finally stop putting so many things into our bodies that are damaging, clogging us up with toxins and other debris. Your BODY does the healing by itself, once you stop adding in so many obstructions. I no longer get ill. This is not primarily ‘because’ I eat raw food; it is because I don’t put so many things into my body that are obstructive and cause disease. There is a big difference. Similarly, a squirrel or other wild animal is not healthy because he eats raw food; he just doesn’t consume things or quantities that are toxic and cause disease. Being well is our natural state; disease is not.”

Love that. I sense this resonated for me so much today because right now I’m in the process of helping some people who are TOTALLY new to raw, to move into a life more vibrant. It is amazing to me how so many people seem to comprehend so little about the connection between food and health... From my ‘raw food bubble’ of reality, I guess I forget how some other people see the world ;) LOL... well, ultimately of course it all comes down to ‘what you leave OUT’ of your intake, rather than ‘what you add IN’...you can be eating spirulina and goji berries until your teeth are stuck together and your whole mouth is slimed-up green – you’re not going to see real healing unless you SIMULTANEOUSLY cease eating the foods that are most toxic to the body (i.e. highly processed, packaged and cooked foods)...once that stage is taken care of, it's all fine-tuning and tweaking from there... Mr. M loves talking abt all this stuff of course – you can see many of his free articles on these subjects HERE and his books HERE... for now, I guess I’ll just be breathing deep with gratitude, as ever, for having been shown this simple path of eating raw to help our bodies heal... ;)

on December the 4th I had:

1 quart water
2 cups greeeen juice: celery, cucumber, dandelion, fennel, parsley, kale, tatsoi, nettles, lime
2 cups energy soup with mineral rich flax crackers and kale chips on the side, followed by NEW coconut yumballs from the Monarch with a little raw ice cream – yummmm ;)
1 quart water
1 tbsp SPROUTEIN powder – LOVE it :))))
water of one young coconut
1 cup energy soup alongside a bowl of kelp noodles with handmade raw pesto sauce (YUMM), followed by NEW coconut yumballs from the Monarch with a little raw ice cream again
2 cups water

I am absolutely LOVING the new Sproutein powder – WOW :) GREAT work from Mr. Alex Raw Guru’ Malinsky... I feel this product really deserves an award – it’s SOOOO tasty and SOOOOO nutritious too – it’s a blend of freshly freeze–dried SPROUT powders with hemp powder, maca AND some yummy sweet things like yacon and lucuma powders too. It is INGENIOUS :) I love it and have been eating it by the spoonful straight from the tub every day since getting hold of it ;) The packaging’s beautiful, there’s so much LOVE in there, it’s easy to eat, it’s just BRILLIANT :) I think this could easily win my ‘favourite new raw product of 2008’ award in fact...YUUMMMMM... Alex has also brought out little glass jars of individual sprout powders – like fennel sprout powder, kale sprouts and so on. My favourite of these individual powders is the red clover – that’s really tasty too... SUCH cool products to help get more nutrition into people who aren’t really interested in fresh stuff/growing their own sprouts and so on (while gently reminding them that real health is truly all about what they leave OUT, of course ;) Mmmm, very very cool :) THANK YOU, Alex :)

Thanks be to ye who have been sending in your designs/ideas for the ULTIMATE raw food kitchen...and we’d love to see more suggestions too, if you have any you’d care to share... Here are the details again of this month’s RawReform Prize Giveaway, if you didn’t send us in your ideas yet:

The contest this time round involves designing YOUR 'ultimate' raw food kitchen space :))) Ideally we'd love to see drawings, if you're able to scan smthg and email it in; you could also DESCRIBE your ideal raw kitchen space, or I'm sure there must also be online programmes somewhere that let you design house spaces (oooo, HERE is one, for example)...however you're able to transmit your ideas to us, we're excited to see your input...
Please let your raw imaginations expand on this one ;) Most of us do NOT live in spaces that were designed with raw foodists in mind - so, forget tiny drying rack spaces and boarded over ovens - how would you create the ULTIMATE raw kitchen space, if you were starting with a blank canvas?
We very much look forward to seeing your ideas - please submit them to angela@rawreform.com before December the 20th.
The winner will be whichever design we feel resonates most as an 'ideal' raw food kitchen environment...and the prize will be either a $50 gift voucher for use towards any of the kitchen appliances in the RawReform Store OR a kitchen gift package of a spiral slicer, one of our amazing nut milk bags and a 'Raw Kitchen' permachart.
SO, get your pencils out and get scribbling, friends :)

YAY :) Looking forward to seeing your plans...
All love, gratitude and lime–flavoured delights,

Back with the marvellous Monarch, nesting in a sweet little green–coloured house in a quiet neighbourhood next to the coast, with a sun–trap patio with views to the ocean, a puppy called ‘princess’ and an abundance of coconut stands nearby with friendly machete–yielding locals ;) Stokes is ALL about the coconuts...we already have amassed an absolute glut of coconut meat from all the cocos we’ve been drinking...fortunately the Monarch brought a dehydrator here from the US, so we will surely be duly experimenting with various forms of coconut ‘crepes’ to make into rawviolis etc...last time we lived somewhere with a dehydrator (abt 2 years ago now), the Monarch was always churning out amazing coconut goodies – so, let’s see what he gets up to now ;)

You know I love sharing some of the more unusual search terms people key into search engines, to end up on this blog (as shown in the admin stats for the site)...well, here are some recent intriguing enquiries:

*frederic patenaude nude
*is nutella a raw food?
*can raw pumpkin seeds grow in the human body?
*squirrel pee toxic
*what can i get free for my birthday?

Love it ;) So, here are my responses for today, in order, for anyone with similar enquiries in the future:

*errrrrm, not round here...
*mmm, hopeful...you can MAKE ‘raw nutella’ though, with hazelnut butter and carob powder – yummmmmm ;)
*highly unlikely – sounds like a fun experiment though ;) ...not sure where you’d keep them...
*I’ve never tried it...it is technically raw though, I guess ;)
*Mmmm, good question...sun rays? glimpses of glorious nature? yummy hugs? wild greens? dips in natural hot springs? smiles? ...?

Mmmmm, there’s a beautiful song I’ve been SO loving lately and wanted to share with you...it’s called ‘Far Far’ by Yael Naim...mmmmmm, have you heard it before? What a beautiful soul...I don’t know what the song might mean to Yael herself, or others who hear it, but to me it speaks of the delicate feeling of awe that comes when a new creative project is downloaded into your consciousness from the Universe and one faces the choice of if/when/how to say “yes” to embodying this new project into this dimension...it reminds me of the quote from Anais Nin:

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful
than the risk it took to blossom.”

As the song also feels beautifully feminine to me, it also speaks to me of the subtle, sweet flow of the right hemisphere/goddess energy that is always there somewhere in the background (at least), no matter how much the left hemispheres of the human world might seem to be ‘in control’ ;) It speaks to me of all the beautiful women out there who are creating and loving and living and giving...I almost invariably end up crying when I listen to this song, it moves me so much – especially towards the end of the song – her voice is so sweet and clear... So, I wanna embed the song here from YouTube for you to listen to if you choose...and to dedicate this to all my si*stars* out there...;) I tried to find a good version of it to share from YouTube – there doesn’t seem to be an ‘official’ version on there, so I chose this little compilation that someone seems to have put together and posted – I hope you enjoy ;) (Oh, I recommend listening with earphones if possible – it always moves me more that way ;) ENJOY :)

All love and jolly jangles,
Angelalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaa. xxx
